2A: Hur kan politiker stödja klimatanpassning i Norden? How can politicians support Nordic climate adaptation?

Den här tematiska sessionen riktar sig till politiker för att få möjlighet att tillsammans dela erfarenheter och öka medvetenheten om hur politiken bäst stödjer klimatanpassning i Norden.

This thematic session is especially targeted towards politicians for sharing experiences and raise awareness on adaptation towards climate robust societies.

Korta presentationer om politikens roll för klimatanpassning från nordiska kommuner som Oslo, Helsingfors och Norrköping och nordiska forskares sammanställningar av politisk styrning inleder handledda samtal i mindre grupper om: 1) Politisk tyngd: när behövs politiskt engagemang för klimatanpassning? och 2) Hur skapas goda förutsättningar för att kunna styra klimatanpassning?

Short presentations of practical experiences from e.g. Oslo, Helsinki and Norrköping and recent mappings of Nordic science feed into moderated group discussions on: 1) Salience: What is the case for political action on climate adaptation? 2) How do we establish good conditions for governing climate adaptation?
